4. What alternative do I have if a customer does not wish to continue using the Domain Name I registered? Will he/ she get a refund in that case?

Once a domain name is registered with us, it cannot be canceled for the stipulated registration period. Also, the registration fee would not be refunded for the same. However, once the registration period is over, it is entirely the customer's choice whether to go for a renewal or not.

5. What is the difference between .COM, .NET and .ORG Domain Names?

.COM is used for commercial and personal sites.

.NET is usually recommended for companies involved in Internet infrastructure.

.ORG is recommended for Non Profit organizations.

However, there are some similarities in hosting the three domain names:

One can use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-") as characters for the site

Some of the rules and regulations of transferring a domain are:

You cannot transfer a domain name that has been registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days.

You need to ensure that the email address of the administrative contact of your domain name at your current registrar is correct. We would be required to contact you at this address and make a request for approval of the transfer.

After we have notified you that the transfer is completed, you must log in to your account and verify the contact information for your domain. Inaccurate or incomplete contact data may result in the cancellation of your domain name.

If the domain name is locked, the transfer will not be accomplished. So, you will first need to contact your current Registrar in order to unlock your domain name.

11. How long will it take to transfer a domain?

Ans. It usually takes around 7 to 15 days to transfer depend on the status of a domain.

12. Will my name and contact information made available public?

Yes, information about who owns the particular website and domain name is publicly available only to allow rapid resolution of technical problems and to permit enforcement of consumer protection, trademark, and other laws. The registrar will make this information available to the public on a "Who is" site.

13. Is it domain transfer is free in your any web space package?

Ans. Domain Transfer is not free in any package. But you can change DNS/ Name Server of your domain to our server then you can easily use our space. Before one Month of Domain Expiry you need to transfer that domain to our company then it will cost you 399/- (.com, .net) other extension have their own renew price.

1. In multi-platform reseller packages you have mentioned as unlimited mailbox, but in the condition you have specified as 250 mail box per domain & the domains given with packages is 250. So it means to say the maximum emails I can have is 250x250=62500. How can you tell it is unlimited mailbox?

Though by default you would get only 250 email ids per domain, you could always increase your domain as an add-on feature by paying additional cost & tp every such increased domain you would get 250 Email ids absolutely free. As there is no limit to the number of domains as add on you could host, there is no limit in availing extra emails too. So growth will be unlimited by (add on domain) facility.

3. In some of the packages you are giving several free features like templates, source codes, etc. How do I get it?

You would be receiving a set of instructions along with your web space control panel login details once your service is activated. In these instructions you would find a link through which you can download the free features. If you do not get, please contact our billing team.

4. Do you provide servlet support in Java?

Currently we do not provide servelet in Java as the demand for servlet is comparatively low as its maintenance is very tedious.

5. Is Moodle application supported in Linux?

Moodle is third party software which could be downloaded & then uploaded into your hosting by FTP. Our server would allow it's functioning but in case of any coding error, you need to contact the company providing the software – No technical support from Manashosting for coding errors in third party software will be provided.

6. Why do you have so many ticket systems? Can't I interact with any 1 team only?

In order to speed up the process of our services, we have ticket system for every department. This ticket system would link you directly to the respective team so that your issues could be resolved faster.

7. What is the trial package? Why should I submit my photo ID & address proof if I need to avail the trial version?

Trial package is a unique service provided by Manashosting. Here the clients can avail the hosting services free of cost for testing purpose. Once satisfied with trial can go for actual package.  It is only for the record purpose you need to furnish us your photo ID & address proof to avoid misuse of our server.

8. Why should I go for minimum 2 yrs registration in case of .co.uk? Can't I register it for a single year?

No. It is the rule of UK Govt which insists on minimum 2 yrs purchase. Currently not available for a single year.  This condition can change in future, depending on those countries rules.

9. I have taken 1 domain windows package (PEM control panel) where I get 2000 version MS SQL, but I require 2005 MS SQL. How do I change it now?

11. I am a customer of your reseller, now I want to come directly to you. Can I take a hosting service from you?

You will have to furnish us the no objection certificate along with your Address proof & photo ID proof from your reseller to host your website with us directly. But in case if our reseller does not want to move your account from him, we will not be in position to help you. Under any circumstances our reseller is facing any problem & he wants to forward his client to us, then we would definitely help you.

12. You domain rates on www.manashosting.org &www.manashosting.info are different? Why so?

www.manashosting.org gives you the rates for domain resellers & www.manashosting.info gives the domain rates for end user.

13. Can I upload PHP files in Java? My requirement is PHP & JSP files to be uploaded in one package?

JSP is supported in our Java package.  PHP is not supported in Java. In case you want both to be uploaded, you can go for our VPS/ Dedicated servers.

14. Is War files supported in your Trial packages?

No. But you can go for Paid Java package where these files are supported.

15. Is Java script supported in your Windows/ Linux?

Yes, it is supported in our Windows.

16. Can I have a dedicated person from your team who could take care of my hosting account. So whatever changes/ inclusions issues arises I want only this person to take care?

We have dedicated teams for every kind of tasks. Eg: Sales/ billing/ technical. You could reach any of these teams via phone, chat, tickets, sms etc. But in case you want to have a dedicated person to take care of your account you can opt for Account Manager Services at the cost of 2500pm.

17. Do you provide ASP.NET 4.0?

19. I have taken a 5 domain windows package with you. Can I know how many emails I could send per day per domain?

You could send maximum 2000 emails per day per package per email ID.  Bulk email & spamming is not permitted.

POP3 accounts are e-mail accounts by using which you can receive email from your site's visitors. They allow you to receive emails only. POP3 accounts have individual username and password to access them. You can create a very well organized site with different POP3 accounts for different areas of your web pages and even configure them to your Outlook Express.

5.What are Email auto responders?

By using email auto responders, you can setup a special type of email account. Whenever someone sends an e-mail on that account, they receive an auto-reply without any manual intervention. They look like a pop account. Usually the e-mails we receive from auto responders read as "Thanks for sending your e-mail. This is an auto generated reply."

6.What is DNS?

The Domain Name Server or DNS translate the human-readable domain name into machine-readable IP adress. It can be considered something similar to a phone book. When you move from one location to another, your name stays the same, but your phone number changes. In order to point your name to the new phone number, you must contact the telephone service provider, so that they assign you the new phone number and update all directory information to reflect you as pointing to this new phone number.

In this way, the IP number can be compared to a phone number: When someone calls http://www.example.com/, your ISP looks at the DNS server, and asks "how do I contact example.com?" The DNS server responds: "It can be found at 198.105.232.4". As the Internet understands it, this can be considered the phone number for the server, which houses the http://www.example.com web site.

The DNS records for your domain are kept on your hosting server in the place called DNS zone. When you register a domain by means of the control panel, all DNS records are automatically created for you. But in some rare cases, you may need to add custom records to your DNS zone. An example would be, when you want all emails to be processed by an external mail server rather than by the built-in mail system. However, such user intervention requires knowledge of DNS configuration and clear understanding of what is to be done.

8.How can we configure Outlook Express for receiving e-mail messages?

To configure Outlook Express, you are required to follow these simple steps:

1. Open Outlook Express.

2. In the menu bar, go to the Tools drop-down menu and select Accounts.

3. On the page that shows, click Add and select Mail.

4. On the wizard page that shows, enter your name in the field and click Next to proceed. Note: this email will appear when you send out emails.

5. On the page that shows, enter your Email Address and click Next to proceed.

6. In the form that shows:
- in the drop-down box, choose POP3 as your incoming server;
- enter the Mail Server Name for both Incoming Mail and Outgoing Mail;
- click Next to proceed.

7.On the page that appears:
- make sure to enter full email address in the Account Name field;
- enter mailbox password in the Password field;
- check the Remember Password box to avoid entering it every time you check or send email;
- click Next to proceed.

8. On the page that shows, click Finish to save settings and get back to the list of email accounts

9. Now that email account is created, select Accounts from the Tools drop-down list in the menu bar.

10. On the Internet Accounts window, select the newly created mail account and click Properties to edit the settings for your email account.

11. On the Properties page that appears, choose the General tab and check the settings of your email account.

Here you can:
- set the name that will show in your letters
- set reply email (should be the same as email)

12. Click Apply and OK to save settings.

9.Configuring Outlook Express with SMTP Auth Relay:

You can set SMTP Auth relay right after your email account is created (steps 1- 8) as described above. To set SMTP Auth, do the following:

1. Select Accounts from the Tools drop-down menu in the menu bar.

2. On the Internet Accounts window, select the newly created mail account and click Properties to edit the email settings.

3. On the Properties page that appears, choose the Servers tab.

4. Check My server requires authentication box and click Settings on the right.

5. On the Outgoing Mail Server window that shows you can:
- use the same settings as incoming server;
- enter account name and input another password for outgoing email.
Note: make sure to check Remember password if you don't want to enter password each time you send out email.

6. Click OK.

7. Back on the Properties page, click Apply and OK to save settings and then close all dialog boxes.
